Printers & Printer Consumables
The optional printer can be connected to all current Siltex sterilizers to provide a printed record of critical sterilizing parameters after each cycle. This enables the review and verification of sterilization success for tracking and monitoring.
Some older model sterilizers can have be retrofitted with a printer. Please contact Siltex to check on suitability.
Replacement printer ribbons and paper rolls are available and can be ordered directly from Siltex.
Trolleys
This epoxy coated steel construction trolley has a stainless steel shelf, single drawer, four castors (front castors with brakes) and a safety rail on three sides. They are large enough to fit any of our sterilizer range to allow portablility and utility within your clinic.
Trays/Handle (for older Siltex models only)
Stainless steel trays can be used for sterilizing bagged or unbagged instruments. Unbagged instruments can be sterilized flat in the tray, whilst bagged instruments are more effectively sterilized on their sides using the wire or long racks.
Custom sized trays are available for specialised purposes. Please contact Siltex for more information.
Infection Control Products
Sterilizer pouches
Siltex stock a range of sterilizer pouches suitable for all bagged sterilizing. These are self-sealing for convenience, feature a built in Class 1 process indicator and come in a range of sizes to suit all instruments and sterilizer models.
Chemical Indicators
Siltex stock Class 4, 5 and 6 chemical indicators strips for sterilizing cycle parameter monitoring either in place of or in addition to using a printer.
Biological Indicator Vials
Required for 12 monthly validation and servicing. Individual vials or a set for Process Validation are available. Siltex offer an incubation service, with BI vials couriered directly from you to our service department for incuabation, interpretation and reporting.
Green Card
The Green Card is our recommended Bowie-Dick test for our Pratika B sterilizer. Simple to use and interpret, these are used in conjunction with the special Bowie-Dick test cycle to check for correct air removal and steam penetration when running Type B cycles.
Water RO Filter
The Siltex RO filter takes normal tap water and process via 4 stages to produce clean water suitable for sterilizer use. Water is produced up to 1 litre every 4 minutes at a clean to waste water ratios of 1:1, which is then stored in a 12 litre tank.
Additional installation is required to connect to mains supply water.
Ultrasonic Cleaner
Soniclean is one of the world's leading manufacturers of ultrasonic cleaners with over two decades of experience in the ultrasonic industry.
Sizes range from 1.6 litres to 80 litres baths. These units come with a built in touch control timer enabling `set-and-forget' operation, they are compact and sealed against harsh external environments.
